The past few weeks have been quite lively here at OnGen; we attended the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference in Glasgow at the SECC, completed the first phase of development of the OnGen Expert™ and received a great response from renewable energy installers in response to our invitation to be included on our panel.
All-Energy
We had some really good meetings at All-Energy event on the 4th and 5th of May with lots of interest in the OnGen Expert™ as an affordable online renewable technology assessment tool for organisations to help organisations consider then deploy renewable technologies to save money on their energy bills and reduce carbon emissions.

OnGen Expert™
We came a long way since we hatched the concept for the OnGen Expert™ in 2014. With great support from Scottish Enterprise and some notable cornerstone investors and experts in the energy industry, the OnGen Expert™ has been defined and refined to the point where it is almost ready to launch which will follow the current phase of user acceptance testing. We are currently preparing a soft launch planned for mid-May, this will coincide with a press release to several of the country’s biggest news outlets.
We will be inviting organisations to use the OnGen Expert™ with an introductory offer to provide their feedback on the customer journey and experience via the website. We will use this to make further improvements to the tool prior to officially launching it across the country.

Installers Sign-ups
In response to an invitation we sent to RECC accredited renewable energy installers across the country, we received over 100 sign-ups through our website in the first week covering all regions of the UK and each of the technologies that can be assessed. This number continues to increase as businesses become more aware of our OnGen Expert™ platform.
These installers will have the opportunity to be featured in our online platform and reach our customers depending on their services and geographical area cover.
