17 August – Western Power Distribution has promised to provide no obstacles for customers installing EV chargers or heat pumps as part of the connectivity pledge. 8 August – The price cap is predicted to pass £4,200 during January according to Investec’s Martin Young. Since the price cap is now to be reviewed quarterly to reduce suppliers’ failures, it means that the price cap can be raised more quickly and therefore bringing higher costs to consumers.
