22 August, 2022 – A new paper by GridBeyond and Thrive Renewables has outlined ways to keep investment into electricity storage ‘attractive’ as increased support is required to decarbonise the grid by 2050.
19 August – A new wind turbine being installed in West Yorkshire is aiming to reduce the local areas’ energy bills. The supplier, Octopus, claims it will help save £350 on customers’ annual energy bills. The 2MW wind turbine is set to generate enough power for 2000 homes annually.
