Solar panel sales boom as energy bills soar

28 August, 2022 – Demand for solar panels has soared throughout the UK as a result of the energy bill crisis. Over 3,000 solar installations are currently conducted per week, an increase from 1,000 per week in July 2020.

Yorkshire wind turbine to cut energy bills for residents

19 August – A new wind turbine being installed in West Yorkshire is aiming to reduce the local areas’ energy bills. The supplier, Octopus, claims it will help save £350 on customers’ annual energy bills. The 2MW wind turbine is set to generate enough power for 2000 homes annually.
