15 March, 2023 – The Energy Price Guarantee for households will remain at its current rate until June, fixing prices at £2,500. This limits the cost of energy for those on a standard variable tariff to 24p/kWh for electricity and 10.3p/kWh for gas. Costs are being kept at the current level until summer 2023.

7 March, 2023 –  Research by Scottish Renewables has discovered that 22’000 undergraduates were studying renewables-related courses at universities and colleges. This is an increase of 70% in four years when there were only 13,000 students in 2019, highlighting the attractiveness of green jobs to young people in Scotland.
