What a busy few months for the OnGen team. Since the last update in November we have welcomed a host of new customers across a range of sectors whilst continuing to develop the OnGen Expert™.
We are pleased to report on the following developments;
OnGen Expert™ Update – new release v1.2
Bug Fixes
The new release of the OnGen Expert™ was rolled out to all customers on the 23rd February and incorporates a small number of bug fixes as identified by an external firm of chartered accountants commissioned by OnGen to audit the commercial assessments produced by the software.
Reporting
We are always listening to our customers and one of the most requested features was for the software to produce an editable site feasibility report. Well now it’s here!
A report carrying the logo of licenced users is available for download from the OnGen Expert v1.2 for our customers. The report is completely editable in MS Word and includes an assessment of all the technology options assessed on a site.

Entrepreneurial Spark
At the beginning of February OnGen joined the Entrepreneurial Spark hub in Edinburgh based at RBS’ headquarters at Gogarburn.
Entrepreneurial Spark is the world’s largest free business accelerator for early stage and growing ventures. Not only does the programme provide state of the art office space and facilities it is a massive vote of confidence for the OnGen team on the future direction of the business.
EIE17
In December 16, OnGen received notification that it had been chosen to pitch for investment at Scotland’s leading investment conference, EiE17 held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on the 11th May for 60 of the country’s most dynamic companies.
