Where do wind turbines go when they die?

9 June, 2022 – Outdated wind turbines from Windy Standard Wind Farm in Dumfries and Galloway will be recycled to be part of playparks, bus shelters and bike racks. A total of 36 wind turbines that are being removed from the wind farm will be used as part of this project.

St Andrews Uni installs 1MW solar farm

23 May, 2022 – A 1MW solar farm has been installed in the Eden Campus within the University of St Andrews. The project has been funded by Fife Council and the Scottish Government. The installation will meet 5% of the university’s overall carbon emissions.

EU reveals its plans to stop using Russian gas
